Welcome to Woodsmithing’s new storefront. Our furniture repair shop is located in North Vancouver and is dedicated to the restoration, refinishing and re-creation of wood furniture including antique and contemporary treasures, from small, individual pieces to entire bedroom or dining-room suites. All work is to high standards of craftsmanship using the most durable, environmentally-safe materials available including fittings, fasteners, adhesives, paints, stains and waxes). Our projects range from solid woods to exquisite veneers and from finely polished hardwoods to grain-painted pine.

 

Occasionally Woodsmithing has pieces that we have restored for the purpose of selling or on occasion, a client has something they’d like to sell. Look through our “for sale” items and then contact us should you find something you are interested in and would like more information about.

 

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit and certified cheques. Should you want to view the piece you are interested in, please feel free to contact us to arrange a time for you to come by our workshop. (In some cases, the item may not be at this location.) We ask that you arrange for picking up the item(s) you purchase.

We encourage our clients to repair rather than replace furniture with new ones. We strive to restore furniture (antiques and modern) to look like new without compromising the integrity of the furniture.
